# Redirections

> Send the respondent on at the end of the questionnaire, based on their status and their target.

A redirection defines where the respondent is sent **at the end of the questionnaire**, based on their status and their target. It is also used to send them to another platform.

## Add a redirection

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open the Redirections tab">
    In data collection, go to **Redirections** → **Add a new redirection URL**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Choose the type">
    Select the redirection type: **Complete**, **Quality**, **Quota full** or **Screen out**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Paste the URL">
    Enter the redirection URL (the panel's URL, for example).
  </Step>

  <Step title="Add a parameter (optional)">
    If the panel expects an ID, give the name of the parameter where you usually put the respondent ID. poll\&roll picks up the ID on the panel side and adds it to the URL.
  </Step>
</Steps>

## Filter a redirection

You filter a redirection link exactly as you would a question. You can therefore plan up to six links depending on status or target.

For example: one "Complete" link filtered on the under-35s, another "Complete" link on the 35s and over. A frequent use case: not paying the panel the same way depending on questionnaire length.

## Send respondents to another platform

To chain on to another questionnaire, put the other platform's link as the end redirection. Two platforms = two separate links.

<Note>
  A warning appears if two unfiltered links of the **same type** (two "Complete" links, for example) coexist on the same sample source. Filter them to remove the ambiguity.
