# Sharing and granting access

> Distribute a survey to a client or a colleague and manage viewing rights.

You can grant access to a whole survey, or distribute certain deliverables without opening an account.

## The access levels

Rights on a survey are set along two axes — **Fieldwork** and **Results**. To share results, the Results axis is the one that counts: **Read-only** or **Full access**.

## Share a survey

Sharing is done from the survey, in the **Collaboration** subsection.

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open Collaboration">
    In the survey, go to **Summary**, then open the **Collaboration** tab. The owner organization stays displayed there.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Enter the e-mail address">
    Enter the e-mail address of the person to grant access to.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Choose the access level">
    Select **Read-only** or **Full access**.
  </Step>
</Steps>

## Share without an account, by link

Some deliverables are distributed by a **simple link**, without the recipient needing a poll\&roll account:

* the **Fieldwork progress** (real-time indicators and quotas);
* the **Dashboards**.

<Tip>
  Handy for giving a client or a colleague visibility without opening the platform to them: you copy the link and send it.
