# Building a dashboard

> Bring together charts from several surveys or waves in a space you can share by link.

A **Dashboard** brings together charts from several surveys or waves, along with text and formatting. It is distributed by a **simple link**, without the recipient needing a poll\&roll account.

  <Step title="Create the dashboard">
    In **My dashboards**, select the surveys to include, click **Add**, choose the owner organization, then **Create**.

  <Step title="Add charts">
    Same chart types as in a report. Each chart displays its base and its filter.

  <Step title="Add text">
    Insert text elements and format them.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Organize the layout">
    Move and resize the elements.
  </Step>
