E-mailing lets you invite a contact file to answer your survey yourself, directly from the platform. This is the channel to use when your sample source is a contact file rather than a panel.
This is an advanced feature, which does not apply to every survey. A dedicated training session can be arranged on request with your Discurv contact.

Create and send a mailing

1

Create a new campaign

In Data collection → E-mailing, create a new campaign.
2

Import the contact file

Import your base in CSV format, with the First name, Name and E-mail fields (and, if needed, additional variables). You can also add contacts manually.
3

Write the e-mail

Enter the Subject and the body of the message.
4

Insert the invitation link

Insert the [URL] link tag: it generates a unique link, tailored to each respondent.
5

Schedule or send

Send immediately, or schedule the send for the date you want.

Reminders

You can set up automatic reminders for contacts who have not answered yet, after a delay you set (X days). A reminder is configured just like a send.
Not to be confused with Follow up, which tracks a key variable during fieldwork. A reminder is an invitation reminder sent to non-respondents.

Monitor the responses

Once the mailing has gone out, follow the responses coming in from Fieldwork progress, which can be filtered by sample source as for any other channel.
