Once your results and your reports are ready, you can export them. The format depends on the deliverable.

What you can export

Export a report

  • A single slide: click the slide’s export icon.
  • The whole report: click Export survey results (top left), then choose the report you want.
The export goes one way only: from the platform to PowerPoint. You cannot rework a report in PowerPoint and then reimport it. The report builder is there to save you time on the initial setup.

Formatting options

Excel export format

Two layouts for flat tables and crosstabs:
  • One tab per question, with a table of contents (default);
  • Single tab, all questions one after another.

Individual data

  • With labels (default, for example “Hydratis”) or with codes (for example Q8_1).
  • In Excel, CSV or Triple S format.

Color scheme and Powerpoint theme

The formatting of PowerPoint reports rests on two elements, set in the results preferences (Preferences → Powerpoint).
  • Color scheme: the set of colors applied to the text and to the bars of the charts. You enter the hexadecimal codes.
  • Powerpoint theme: the font, the background image, the format (16/9) and the position of the elements (title, chart, caption).
On export, the theme is applied for a consistent rendering. You can use the default poll&roll theme, or your organization’s theme.
On screen, the rendering (font, scales) depends on your browser and your resolution: a theme font that is not installed on your machine may display poorly. After the PowerPoint export, the display is correct.

Track your exports

An export is not always instant. The export tracking area (label Export progress, top right) lists the status of your exports and your duplications. There you check that a task has completed, and there you retrieve the file.
The download link of an export — in the notification e-mail as well as in Export progress — expires 7 days after the file is generated. After that, start the export again.
