Quotas set the number of respondents you are aiming for per profile. They are set in individuals (a number of people), as opposed to weighting, which is expressed as a percentage.

Set quotas

1

Open the Quotas tab

Go to the Quotas tab in data collection.
2

Flat or crossed

Set Flat quotas (gender, age, region, and so on) or Crossed quotas: one variable in columns, one variable in rows.
3

Adjust the objectives

The platform proposes balanced quotas by default. Change them if needed.
4

Set the leeway

Define the margin accepted around each objective.

Leeway

Leeway is 5% by default at creation. You change it globally (in the quota settings) or quota by quota.
Keep a global leeway of 5%, then widen it on a case-by-case basis. For example: move a region to 15% at the end of fieldwork to close out collection.

Target quotas

A target quota follows the same logic as a quota, but with leeway at 0: you get an exact number of people per item.

Follow up

Follow up lets you track a key variable during fieldwork without setting an objective for it. Unlike quotas, which are restricted to single choice questions, it accepts Multiple choice questions (awareness, purchase, and so on).
Quotas are set in individuals. Weighting is expressed as a percentage. These are two separate settings.
